Mech-rite engineering can provide the latest technology in bolt tightening tools and or manpower to aid in the erection process of new wind farms or maintenance of existing farms. Our experience includes bolt tightening and tensioning of tower flanges, nacelles, blades, foundations, generator and rotors. Rope Access and Inspection works, Mechanical Service works.

Plarad launch its new intelligent torque tightening system. Packed with the latest electronics the new VAX turbo torque pumps provide our wind turbine customers with unique advantages over other manufacturers older traditional and heavier pumps.

The latest technology enables the operator to simply program a desired torque in to the pumps CPU. The pump automatically recognizes the torque tool being used and signals its readiness for bolting. The VAX performance to weight ratio and it’s single push button operation provides super fast automatic bolting, a green LED illuminates to show the bolt torque has been reached. All bolts that are tightened have the final torque data recorded for traceability.

Used during the erection process electric nut runners are light weight, low noise, non-vibration, constant rotation precise torque tools.
